Client Challenge

A division within Freddie Mac sought to evolve into an agile, product-centric delivery approach for evaluating, building and designing customer-centered technology. They were dealing with the challenges of slow tech delivery and execution, forcing them to take a reactive approach to customer needs with antiquated tools, minimal process automation, and siloed data sources. The client asked North & Main for help in developing a strategy and target state operating model that would address the challenges and lay the foundation for achieving the technology team’s vision.

 

Our Solution

We crafted a simple yet elegant technology strategy that would realize the client’s vision over a two year period. We based our strategy on a framework of four pillars and four strategic enablers, transforming the organization to be more customer-oriented and product-centric.

 

The technology strategy we developed was adopted by the client's executive sponsors and the plan was fully embraced by Freddie Mac's IT group.
